Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is in charge of the controlling of the manufacturing site and management of local finance, legal and tax requirements. He is responsible for the financial health of the local organization and needs to produce the required financial reports to assess and support decision makers at general management level. It includes guidance on direct investment activities and strategies to be implemented for the production site. He is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, the maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records including a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risks internally and externally.

Management of Finance and Controlling in SGA Luxembourg; Typical duties include producing financial reports, monitoring accounts, preparing industrial activity reports and financial forecasts; Financial manager also investigates ways to continuously improve profitability; Month-end closing for SGA Luxembourg; Plant controlling for SGA Luxembourg; Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management; CRU and preparation of the yearly costing; Liaise with newly implemented SSC in the Netherlands for accounts; Magnitude reporting; Budget and forecast preparation for SGA Luxembourg; ATP pricing; Ensure that accounts payable is paid on a timely manner; Purchased orders and invoices validation for SGA Luxembourg perimeter; Preparation of investment requests and ROI calculation if needed (CAPEX); Financial support for WCM projects and management of the Project Tracker platform for SGA Luxemburg; Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors (tax & accounting) for the annual audit; Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings; Internal control (treasury, purchasing and accounting); Local obligations (RCS, Ministère des entreprises moyennes, etc.).
