**Middle Office Officer**
**Permanent Contract**
**Role and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role holder will deal with the following tasks:
- Cash Transfers
- Emir reporting (Backup)
- FIL (Financial Information Letter)
- CRS & FATCA reporting and other client tax reporting including QI and withholding tax
- CTCR Tool
- Project management
- Principal accountabilities:_
- Timely and accurate processing of Manilla Instructions
- Back up of preparation and submission of daily EMIR’s reporting
- Preparation and sending FIL
- Preparation and submission of CRS’s reporting
- Preparation and submission of FATCA’s reporting
- Use CTCR Tool to produce CRS & FATCA
- Assist & support the FO regarding escalated issues
- Fiscal declaration sent to the ACD in the context of new regulations related to fiscal transparency and related to US revenues for US persons only.
**Professional Skills and Experience**:
- University degree or equivalent
- Banking experience in a support function particularly in middle office activities
- Understanding of the requirements to ensure compliance with FATCA & CRS regulations
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated person with a naturally proactive approach
- Ability to take ownership and follow through on all tasks, including those which have no clear guidance
- Team player with a track record in collaborative working
- Ability to work under pressure
- Very good command of MS Office suite and tax tools
- Perfect command of English, both in spoken and written, together with excellent communication skills are required for the role. A second European language such as French is also a strong advantage.
