We look for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to our projects in areas such as: Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications.
**Your role**:
- The position holder will be required to perform the following tasks:_
- Network topology analysis considering power, link budget, etc
- Deep analysis of the QKD components such as QRNG, KMS, etc
- Communicate and interact with the partner’s team to collect requirements and report results
- Implement and open-source proof-of-concept software tools
- Participate in relevant technical committees, consider the usage of standards, and contribute to standardization documents
- Present findings at international events
**Your profile**:
- Continuous/discrete wave (CV/DV) quantum key distribution (QKD)
- QKD components
- Knowledge of network topologies
- Implement and open-source proof-of-concept software tools
- Knowledge of electronics, programmable logic, and processing systems is an advantage
Strong analytical and programming skills are required (Python, VHDL, Matlab, and C/C++). Prior proven experience in data-driven innovation projects is an asset as well as having prior research publications in high-ranking journals or in international conference proceedings. Most importantly, you should be curiosity driven and willing to constantly learn new things
- Language Skills_: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
