**The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine** (FSTM) contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of **Mathematics**, **Physics**, **Engineering**, **Computer Science**, **Life Sciences** and **Medicine**. Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens, in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.
**Your Role...**:
- Exploit computational tools, including machine learning approaches, to efficiently and accurately identify promising materials (including MOFs and COFs)
- Synthesis and characterize materials using standard techniques
- Prepare membranes and evaluate their performance for various gas separations
- Provide support to fellow researchers in a supportive team environment
- Contribute to the teaching activities, for example with tutorials or lab classes
**What we expect from you**:
- Masters degree in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering or materials engineering
- Interest in computational/machine learning techniques for materials science, ideally with some experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
