We are looking for an organized self-starter to join the Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) team at Amazon. This position will be based out of an Amazon corporate office, and requires the ability to travel periodically.
Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) have built world-class Middle Mile (MM) operations, which rely on an exceptional pool of carriers who work relentlessly to meet our customers’ expectations. TRC is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as a Senior Risk Manager, responsible for optimizing worldwide operational audit and monitoring processes, helping improve carriers’ compliance with laws and policies through innovative solutions, and driving a culture of compliance both internally and externally.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Amazon internal transport businesses to govern and facilitate carrier and stakeholder surveys and education, in collaboration with local training POCs, and coordinate with MM Field Ops leaders WW on process improvement initiatives and drive implementation based on received feedback
- Build and maintain the global MM risk assessment library, working in hand-in-hand with the global TRC Risk Management and Governance organization and applicable stakeholders (e.g., Legal)
- Define an engagement strategy with transportation regulatory bodies (e.g., DVSA, DOT), and capture transport-related regulatory changes and coordinate corresponding process changes, in line with the global TRC regulatory change management strategy
- Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence
- Lead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary
Luxembourg, LUX
- Compliance management experience
- Working knowledge of local transport and contractual laws and regulations
- Training and/or coaching experience
- Data software experience (e.g., Tableau, QuickBase, etc.)
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, or Polish
