**The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE)** covers a wide range of fields: behavioural and cognitive sciences, education and social work, geography and spatial planning, humanities and social sciences. **Your Role...**:

- Accompany the decision makers of these entities concerning strategic organisational development initiatives
- Advise management on HR and people management topics (e.g. interpersonal relationships, conflict management, staffing, labor law)
- Provide solutions in alignment with compliance legal framework and policies
- Clarify organizational needs and translate them into appropriate HR actions and solutions
- Prepare workforce planning in collaboration with decision makers
- Act as partner for implementation and realization of change processes
- Advise in HR tools, instruments and HR best practice
- Support the implementation and development of HR processes
- Take on various operational activities in regard to recruitment, selection, integration and employee mobility

**What we expect from you**:

- Master degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Human Resources related environment
- A first experience in a research environment is considered as a great asset
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of HR management
- High ability to mediate between different perspectives
- Diplomacy and excellent communications skills
- Team player with a mature personality
- Solution oriented attitude, balancing short-term priorities with long-term goals
- Experience from an international environment is considered as an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Luxembourgish labor law is considered as an asset
- Ability to cope with a varied number of different tasks and topics related to HR
- Excellent knowledge in German, English and French
