Job summary

The Amazon Global Workforce Staffing (WFS) Organization is a critical element in bringing on talent to deliver our customer experience around the globe. You will work on projects that use your expertise in learning theory, instructional technologies, and human performance technology to enhance the performance of Amazonians.

The solutions you create will enable improved employee experience, shorten lead times to proficiency, and provide performance support at the point of need. This includes developing both self-directed and instructor-led training interventions.

Being successful on this team requires the ability to:

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand program goals and define the learning solution that will make their programs successful.
- Create performance-focused training content that engages our learners, ensuring content is ready for localization and deployment in international locations.
- Create outstanding learning tools, performance support aids, practice tests, online tutorials, and other materials to meet identified needs.
- Create tests, quizzes, and other assessments to ensure learner understanding and performance.
- Manage your projects amidst ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines.
- Travel may be required up to 10%.

A work sample demonstrating your experience and skill using course authoring tools and ID theory will be required as part of the hiring process.

This role may be based in Prague (preferred), Luxemboug, or London.
- Masters' Degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field.
- Experience developing training for contact center employees and familiarity with call center QA & coaching practices
- Extensive experience with authoring tools, such as Storyline/Rise 360, Captivate, Lectora, or similar.
- Experience developing accessible online learning for people with disabilities.
- Advanced Multimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation (e.g. Audition, Premiere, Vyond).
- Deep understanding of visual design principles.
- Intermediate experience in web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and/or similar languages) to create web sites, learning portals, and other technical assets.
- Experience with emerging tech trends for content creation (e.g. xAPI, gamification, augmented reality, and virtual reality).
- Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, project management, and content-specific certifications as appropriate (e.g. CPLP, CPT, PMP, etc.).
