**About the role...**:
To carry out the research, teaching, and outreach activities related to advanced statistical mechanics in chemical physics. This position is embedded within the Theoretical Chemical Physics (TCP) group at the Department of Physics and Materials Science (DPhyMS). The ability to model emergent phenomena at multiple scales—from quantum interactions to classical dynamics—is pivotal to unlocking new insights into molecular systems and advancing our understanding of their behavior. Addressing this challenge requires a specialist in statistical mechanics capable of bridging these scales using advanced mathematical and computational tools on high-performance computers.

- PhD in physics and postdoctoral experience in advanced statistical mechanics
- Evidence of research independence and publications in internationally renowned journals
- Teaching experience in statistical physics
