**Overview**

The Bank of New York Mellon Luxembourg provides depositary services for collective investment schemes, mainly Luxembourg-registered funds. The Bank fulfils an oversight role for its client funds under existing regulations. This oversight involves the monitoring of investment restrictions as disclosed in the prospectus. The objective is to ensure that all funds with The Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV - Luxembourg Branch will comply with existing regulations i.e. directives, laws, circulars and prospectus guidelines.

The Depository Bank Administrator will be in charge of reviewing all the investment restriction rules for UCITS and Alternatives Investment funds. This will encompass the review, the detection, the analysis and the reporting of potential issues.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly monitoring of fund portfolios to ensure that funds are in compliance with regulatory documentation guidelines, in accordance with Law, Circulars and Guidelines,
- Ensure that all fund activities are compliant with regulations,
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, official guidelines and Circulars in respect to depository responsibilities,
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of all financial instruments,
- Liaise with clients on any compliance issue,
- Ensure escalation of issues to management as well as BNYM operational centres respectively,
- Ensure enquiry and outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner,
- Liaise with our utility team should we have issues with our compliance system.

**Education and Skills**
- University degree. Preferably Business administration, Law, or Management,
- Any additional specific qualifications in financial markets will be a plus,
- Basic knowledge of laws and regulations and of financial instruments will be an advantage,
- Attention to details, motivation and willing to learn and make a career in financial services,
- Very Client oriented,
- English (mandatory), French, any additional (European) languages would be considered as an advantage,
- Strong analytical, communication and organization skills
- Ability to work both, independently and within a team,
- Control and risk minded,
- Ability to work under pressure,
- PC literate. Good command of Excel and ability to deal with different custody and fund administration systems.
