Our client, a leading Private Equity firm with a diverse alternative investments portfolio, seeks an Associate to join the Finance & Oversight team.
Following a change of structure in the Department, the Finance & Oversight team is new and they are adding talent to the team due to business growth.
The business manages a portfolio of alternative investment funds including private equity funds, real estate funds, debt funds and some traditional funds are being transitioned into the team. They are supported by external service providers and this position is to provide an oversight function of the service providers and the accounting for the funds and underlying asset, plus perform a reporting role and project management tasks. This is a broad role, you will join a fast paced, exciting environment for a top quality private equity firm.
Key tasks will include:
- Building relationships with service providers and manage their operational delivery
- As part of the new oversight team, assist with the implementation of new processes and drive enhancement of existing procedures
- Assist a Manager in due diligence co-ordination (of depositary and central administration oversight)
- Completion of regulatory reporting, financial reporting, annual reporting (CIT, VAT, CSSF)
- Tax Compliance and responsibility for co-ordinating the Statutory Audit
- Perform various project related tasks, coordinating with IT and business teams
- 2-4+ years of experience working for a Big 4 (audit or consulting) dealing with alternative investment funds (AIFs)
- You will need a minimum of 2 years working in Luxembourg to be considered for this position
- Knowledge of AIFM regulatory reporting requirements preferred
- Team player with resourceful mind set
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint required
