Compliance, bribery and corruption or fraud continue to be a complex business challenge. As new laws and regulations are introduced and new risks arise, companies' management needs to ensure that corporate governance standards and a culture of ethic are adhered to and that robust compliance programs are in place. Moreover, in case of crisis, companies must ensure that they are able to react adequately and investigate allegations or suspicions of misconduct. In a period of increase of the volume and complexity of data, companies must also ensure that they have access to the right skills and tools to preserve, collect, review and produce data.
As an eDiscovery Project Manager, you will have the following duties:
- Participating to the design of the ED infrastructure and provide strategy to achieve best practices
- Managing the full cycle of data discovery, from the early stages of identification and collection, through to management, analysis, reporting and production
- Managing large and disparate volumes of electronically hosted structured and unstructured information
- Managing teams on client engagements, providing leadership and delivering the right approaches
- Advising clients on data readiness and gaining insight into their data and the value of data analytics
- Drafting of documentation for internal processes in line with best practice re evidence management
- Developing the business by creating demand and converting sales
- Monitor the workload within the e-disclosure environment and assist with pricing for services
- Ensure sufficient capacity exists to manage the workload of project resources
- Ensure accurate and timely reports on chargeable activity are provided into the financial processes
- Providing training to clients on eDiscovery review tools
- High level of professionalism and hands-on experience
- A good understanding of forensic, e-Discovery and litigation tools, especially Relativity and Nuix
- Experience in setting-up eDiscovery environments (hardware, software)
- Extensive experience of using Relativity review to perform complex searches, allocation of documents and management of workflow
- Experience in collecting data from various sources (laptops, mobile phones, social networks etc...)
- Understanding of data processing software such as NUIX etc.
- Ability to determine technical requirements and best practice during the scope of discovery process
- A good understanding of the manipulation of data sets
- Experience outside of pure litigation in terms of the regulatory experience, Antitrust or Bribery & Corruption is beneficial
- Relativity Administrator Certification (RCA) is a plus
- Understanding of scripting languages such as SQL
- Law firm experience or hands-on experience working with lawyers
