**Position Summary**
The Vice President (VP), Depositary Governance & Regulatory Supervision (DGRS) team will contribute to maintaining and strengthening the depositary bank monitoring program while performing quality reviews and controls, manage regulatory audit, compliance and CSSF inspections, supervise the depositary activity, review processes and procedures, provide expertise and regulatory updates across the depositary bank.
The DGRS VP shall act as a highly-skilled depositary specialist fostering a culture of high performance and mastering the UCITS and AIFM regulations. The VP shall act as a leader, oversight champion, a support for other team members (when required) and work in an autonomous way on all allocated tasks.
**Duties**
- Interact with Clients, service providers, counterparties and Auditors to build and maintain strong relationships
- Act as the TD representative in clients’ meetings in case of escalation
- Accountable for building a strong Operating Model
- Responsible for the oversight of the depositary activity through management controls
- Interact with Clients, service providers, counterparties and Auditors to build and maintain strong relationships
- Support the implementation of new risk-based approach aligned with the book of business
- Follow, and enhance the procedures and controls designed to ensure activity is performed according to regulatory requirements
- Pro-active participation in team meetings and providing training to other team members
- Identify and implement training on regulatory changes
- Oversight the outsourcing model, to ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting
- Assist and contribute whenever required to all other depositary tasks allocated to him/her
- Ensure the issuance of the regulatory reporting (SAQ, Survey etc)
- Manage audit, compliance and CSSF onsite inspections
- Manage in full autonomy all assigned tasks
**Qualifications**
- Any additional qualifications in financial markets will be a plus. (Masters, Diploma, etc)
- 7 years of experience in the Fund Industry is required - experience in audit (BIG 4)
- Excellent knowledge in Real Estate and Private Equity
- Perfect command of English. Any additional languages would be considered as an advantage
- Strong knowledge of the UCITS and AIFM laws and regulations
- Strong analytical, communication and organization skills (both verbal and written)
- Agile, adapt quickly

- Capacity to work under pressure Team leader
