**We are seeking a Senior Accounting Advisor/Assistant Manager in Risk Consulting**

Risk Consulting delivers a wide range of risk, valuation, regulatory, accounting and finance related services to our clients. A career as an Assistant Manager/Senior Accounting Advisor in our team provides you with hands-on opportunities to support our clients in risk, accounting and finance related projects that may range from implementing new requirements, improving efficiency and/or effectiveness or specific technical issues. Your role will include, but not limited to, leading such projects related to financial and managerial accounting topics. You will become part of a consulting team that strives to make our clients better. Our engagements are a mix of short and long duration, client-site, and office-based work mainly in Luxembourg.
We are seeking outstanding individuals who will enhance a team committed to be the market leader by size and reputation.

**What you will be working on**
- Analyzing the accounting treatment of complex transactions
- Drafting technical analysis papers
- Presenting findings to clients and their management bodies
- Inspecting controls and processes of entities and advising them on remediation plans
- Creating and delivering trainings on various accounting-related technical topics
- Creating proposals based on client requests
- Assisting in leading several projects on various topics and across all industries
- Working on the implementation of new accounting standards
- Playing a key role in delivering excellent client experience
- Supervising and mentoring junior advisors
- Attending global network calls/trainings/updates and following up on newly issued materials
- Working with leading organizations in Luxembourg to improve their accounting/finance processes
- Collaborating with our technical accounting department on internal initiatives
- Investing time and staying up to date with recent developments

**What we look for**
- Has 3 to 6 years of relevant working experience (preferably at another big four)
- Has a strong base in accounting and finance related topics
- Has a strong understanding of financial reporting topics and IFRS
- Can, and is willing to, cope with complex technical questions
- Solutions driven and motivated to work on complex cases
- Is challenging the status quo and strives for continuous improvement
- Has a client centric attitude
- Has demonstrated flexibility and good team and communication skills throughout their career
- Shows excellent coaching, organizational and presentation skills
- Is fluent in English (French and/or German are a plus).
- Holds or is currently pursuing a professional qualification (preferably ACCA/CPA/FRM)
