Our client is a global player in investment management. They are looking for a **Fund Accounting Oversight Manager** to join their successful team in** Luxembourg** on a **12 month fixed term contract basis**.
The **Fund Accounting Oversight Manager** will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Ensuring that all fund financial reporting is produced consistently, on time and to a high standard with no audit issues
- Ensuring that the service from appointed pricing and fund accounting agents is consistent, on time and produced to a high standard in accordance with agreed service levels and regulatory/accounting practice
- Contributing to the development of an appropriate oversight framework in line with regulatory changes
- Ensuring that all risks within the fund accounting function are understood and all pricing errors are properly reported in line with regulation, internal policies and fully remediated to avoid reoccurrence
- Supporting operational change projects impacting the fund accounting function, including changes arising from regulatory developments, internal operational and systems requirements, controls improvements and client requirements
- Assist in producing / improving processes and procedures
The **Fund Accounting Oversight Manager** will meet the following criteria:
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Collective Investment industry (including liquidity funds), and specifically fund operations
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Experience managing stakeholders effectively
- Proven experience dealing with fund managers
