**Why the International Corporate Banking Graduate Programme?**
With a global investment bank presence across Americas, UK, Europe, and Asia Pacific, you will enter a supportive, collaborative environment known for its pace. This programme covers financial modelling, credit skills, CIB products, and solutions, plus understanding product sets like FX, DCM, and Barclaycard. You will master the end-to-end deal process, execution, and soft client management skills. You have the chance to contribute to growth, innovate solutions, align with sustainability goals, and assist senior bankers, gaining a platform for impact and development.
Your responsibilities encompass assisting with relationship loans, cash management RFPs, trade finance facilities, amongst others. Valuable career and job skills are learned from experienced colleagues. You will have a tangible impact on the Corporate Bank while also advancing their own career journey and skillsets.
1-2 year targeted, fast-track programme focused on developing specialist technical expertise.
**International Corporate Banking at Barclays**

**Who we're looking for**
To be considered for this programme, you must be motivated and curious with a degree or expected degree in any area. Language requirements: fluent in English and desirable in French, German or Luxembourgish.
Ideally, you'll be interested in finance and business, proactive and a good communicator. We value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, all of which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.

**Purpose of the role**
To participate in the day-to-day activities of the international corporate banking division providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.
**Accountabilities**
- Execution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for international corporate banking, interacting with global clients and supporting in deals.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
- Participation in training and development programmes to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Identification of opportunities, development of business cases, management of the deployment and launch of new products and services for international corporate banking.
- Management of the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support in decision making for international corporate banking.
- Training and mentoring of junior colleagues.
**Analyst Expectations**

- Maintain and continually build an understanding of how own sub-function integrates with function, alongside knowledge of the organisations products, services and processes within the function.
