**Role Title: Device Operations Programs, Governance and Compliance Manager**
**Location: Luxembourg**
**Role purpose**:
The Device Operations Programs, Governance and Compliance Manager will be responsible for formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected cross-functional projects in the area of Device Operations, as well as ensuring an industry-standard governance, risk and compliance policies and procedures within the wider Device Operations team (including Commercial Operations, Commercial Logistics, Logistics Operations and Operations Programmes), including relevant regulatory and ethical standards. The role holder is among others responsible for:
- Overseeing and coordinating strategic department programs to ensure they meet business goals
- Organizing programs and activities to improve department efficiencies, building long-term goals for department projects and developing program and project budgets
- Responsible for implementation of new and successful roll-out of already defined strategic business models within the Device Operations organization, in particular with focus on the governance, risk and compliance perspective
- Plan, execute, and report on various types of governance and compliance assurance reviews
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and assist in developing and executing a dynamic risk assurance plan to address high-risk areas
- Lead improvements and design of innovative business and regulatory compliance key controls across the Organization
- Lead compliance related change management initiatives within the Device Operations Team
- Support management in handling complex issues with internal auditors and/or external regulators
- Define and enhance program metrics, measuring and demonstrating program effectiveness, representing the program and presenting results and risks to and influencing senior leadership
- Contribute to an environment that fosters innovation and enables continuous improvement of the risk and compliance mindset across the organisation
- Develop and maintain tight coordination with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to: commercial business owners (Supplier Account Managers), Vodafone Shared Service Centre (VOIS), Product, Finance, Legal and Internal Audit
- Participate and/or lead special or ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date regarding current events and the regulatory environment and how they may affect Device Operations processes and compliance

- Managing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the Device Operations department
- Plan, execute, and report on various types of governance and compliance assurance reviews
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments and assist in developing and executing a dynamic risk assurance plan to address high-risk areas
- Implement new and further scale already existing strategic business models, in particular with focus on the governance, risk and compliance perspective
- Experience in risk management or compliance in supply chain and/or procurement operations, ideally including exposure to technology industry and/or project management
- Experience with complex projects and/or transformation programs, in global context and knowledge of the Mobile Industry or consumer electronics - ideally within Supply chain or/and systems to support supply chain
- Experience in stakeholder management and competent in building relationships, communicating and influencing at all levels within and outside an organization
- Strong analytical skills; ability to structure complex problems; think out of the box, experience in modelling, designing new processes and systems solution
- Ability to analyse fragmented inputs, derive key attributes and recommend/deliver effective recommendations and outcomes
- Internal / external audit or consulting or business experience in identifying risk and controls across operational business processes
- Team player in international team
- Project management experience
- Ideally knowledge of regulatory / business compliance
