We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Accounting & Consolidation Intern, to work closely with the Accounting and Consolidation teams and support them in their core functions.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Perform month-end close booking activities (both standalone and consolidation close)
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare Financial Statements and related analytical reviews
- Coordinate and address audit queries
- Communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders (FinOps, legal)
- Providing quality support for internal and external financial reporting
- Collaboration with local accounting teams (Luxembourg, Hungary, etc.)
- Contribute to various internal accounting automation projects
- Actively participating in cross functional project launches from scoping through testing and launch
- Actively propose ideas for improving existing processes and support development of new ones.
- Execute other tasks assigned by the Accounting or the Consolidation manager.

**Qualifications**
- You have a strong academic background and ideally hold a first university degree (BSc.) in finance / economics / related quantitative studies from a leading business school. (Accounting and Consolidation courses are a plus)
- You are a results-driven team player and you are committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
- You have strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of an accounting software is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a finance department a plus.
- Self-starter and team player with a proactive attitude.
