Industrial Engineering

A company is only as good as its people. And, as we always want to be at the top of our game, you’ll need to be there too if you want to work with us. We are currently looking for the right person to join our Industrial Engineering department.

**Your responsibilities would include**:

- Supporting and supervising the team regarding project timings, technical issues and interesting future technologies
- Performing yearly performance evaluations and, if needed, goal reviews during the year
- Creating training plans for the team
- Providing input to yearly budget planning
- Gathering analysis and merging information relating to technical specifications for IEE’s products, relevant technical equipment on the market, and common technical methods etc. to ensure IEE maintains and improves its technical and quality market leadership
- Tracking equipment requests up to the delivery to internal customers within the given timeline
- Supporting machine acceptance tests at the premises of equipment suppliers or in-house
- Providing tools and support to create test specifications for new and existing products
- Supporting or recommending the release of machine and tooling equipment
- Providing or delegating trainings for the maintenance, prototyping and production teams for all IEE production sites on demand

**You would need to meet the following requirements**:

- A university degree in electrical, mechatronics or mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Good understanding of metrology and automation techniques, databases and computation software and its interfaces, automation and handling methods
- Good knowledge of production technologies and processes
- Fundamental Six Sigma education and high quality awareness
- Ability to lead a team of engineers
- Good understanding and several years of experience in project management
- Knowledge of MS Office tools. Database, SAP, AutoCAD (or equivalent), Minitab, SolidWorks and/or VBA are considered an asset
- Good analytical, organizational and leadership skills and a proactive attitude
- The ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory, French is considered an asset
