Do you know that lux-Airport is the operating company of Luxembourg airport, providing direct flight services to 89 destinations and employing 350 people?
In 2019 our airport welcomed 4,4 million passengers and we have the ambition to increase this number and to continue developing our activities
In order to achieve this objective and as part of the development of the Operations department, we are looking to hire immediately a : Winter Operations Expert (M/F/d)
**Responsibilities**:
**_What you will be doing :_**
- _- Managing and developing a comprehensive and efficient winter service programme (snow plan) and concept of operations for Luxembourg Airport in cooperation with all partners.
- Being the domain expert for all aspects related to winter operations and, as such, defining and supporting the development of the concept, procedures, tools, equipment and facilities dedicated to winter services at ELLX
- Aligning and developing relevant processes and SOPs in accordance with regulations and best practices.
- Managing and developing roles and responsibilities between partners, with contractors and within teams.
- Monitoring technological developments and best practice and creating and maintaining a plan to develop winter operations at ELLX, both in terms of processes and equipment.
- Supporting and developing the required training standards and competency checks for individual roles, both in terms of vehicle, equipment and facility handling and procedures.
- Coordinating with all internal (technical, environmental,...) and external (ANSP, airlines, handlers,...) partners on matters related to winter operations
- Ensuring respect of Safety & Compliance regulation
- Participating in the integration of new employees
Must Have Requirements
**_What you will need :_**
**Etucation**:
- Postgraduate degree (Master) or equivalent experience
**Experience**:
- min 5 years’ experience in airport, by preference operations
- min 3 years’ experience in winter services at an aerodrome
**Languages**:
- English : fluent in speaking and writing
- French and/or German : operational level required in speaking and writing
