**About the role**:
The System Administrator will be responsible for the support, administration, configuration, patching, implementation, maintenance and management of our IT infrastructure in Luxembourg. He will work in close cooperation with internal and external group member on infrastructure level. In this function, the System Administrator will find an exciting international dimension and a stimulating work environment where initiative, commitment and communication are essential. The System Administrator will be part of the IT Team and report directly to the Head of IT.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to internal teams based in Luxembourg
- Install/configure and maintain the end user devices and server using different operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Manage Security patching (Windows, Linux)
- Monitor systems on a continuous basis to ensure a proper, efficient and available system infrastructure
- Operate the IT infrastructure [e.g. server & laptop setup & deploy, configuration, patching]
- Analyse, configure and tune the Luxembourg Network in line with group requirements
- Configure and monitor firewall in line with local and Group framework
- Manage 3rd party/ vendors
- Take responsibilities within Group projects and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver the IT infrastructure strategy
- Support IT migration projects into the group & local environment linked to acquisitions

**Role Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science with at least 2-3 years of professional working experience
- Microsoft certified professional or Microsoft specialist is considered as an advantage
- Additional knowledge of Linux (Debian, Redhat, Suse, shell, bash), databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres), monitoring tools (Nagios), network, VMware or data recovery, security & patching is considered as an advantage
- Fluency in English, French and/or German is considered as an advantage.
- Deep knowledge in Microsoft technology solutions (Server, Exchange)
- Self-starter, customer-oriented and problem-solver
- Flexible and pro-active, structured and quality oriented
- High sense of responsibility and able to work autonomously
- Team player with good capacity of integration and communication
- Service minded and solution oriented
- Able to handle a fluctuating workload and multiple priorities combining day-to-day operations and Projects
