**Data Scientist (Hybrid) - Luxembourg**
This is a Luxembourg** **based role with an excellent **immediate start** within a **Global Technology brand** working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.
The Database Administration & Data Modelling division is responsible for collecting data, formatting and analysing it to produce meaningful statistics that enable the business lines to make more effective decisions.
The mission consists of:
- Determining the needs of the business;
- Shaping the data, making it intelligible and usable for the business;
- Communicating the results appropriately to the audience;
- Developing and leading a data working group with business representatives.
**Technical skills**:
- Good expertise in data mining in the financial sector;
- A good command of programming languages for machine learning models, data manipulation and visualisation (preferably Python, SQL);
- A good understanding of the concepts of statistics and probability;
- A good knowledge of machine learning modelling.
**Experience**:
- At least 2 years' experience in a data mining project;
- Concrete experience of a machine learning project using company data, in which you are able to demonstrate autonomy in the design and evaluation of algorithms and models;
- Professional experience in the financial sector.
- University degree (BAC +5) (preferably in one of the following fields: IT, economist, statistics, data scientist);
- Professional certification as a data scientist would be an advantage.
