**New Fund Accounting role open in Luxembourg**

Reporting to the Head of Fund Accounting PERE, the Associate will be responsible the day to day administration of Alternative Funds, SPVs, Holding Companies and GP entities, delivery to clients, and assisting members of the team. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The Associate will be responsible the day to day administration of Alternative Funds, SPVs, Holding Companies and GP entities, delivery to clients, and assisting members of the team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the stakeholders of the funds, SPVs, holdings and GP entities
- Process capital activity for the funds in the accounting systems, including commitments, subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, drawdowns, redemptions, rebalances and transfers
- Liaise with banks, brokers, custodian, depositary and investment manager for the processing of trades, cash transactions, income and expenses on a daily basis
- Prepare daily cash, trade and portfolio reconciliations, investigate and resolve any breaks/discrepancies
- Prepare funds' net asset value calculations and investor allocations in line with clients' requirements and deadlines
- Update and maintain accounting records in accordance to GAAP/IFRS, internal controls and policies
- Process bank wire transfers and payments of expenses
- Calculate preferred return, waterfall, performance fee, management fee and other expense accruals
- Respond to client-specific requests/inquiries and proactively anticipate client needs
- Preparation of financial statements, notes, supporting information and tax schedules, liaising with auditors and ensure the reporting deadlines are met

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years previous fund accounting/ fund administration / NAV experience.
- Understanding of Luxembourg alternative funds structures (Hedge, PERE), holding companies, SPVs, agreements and investment strategies.
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work in a demanding and progressive environment meeting deadlines as necessary.
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, and industry standard accounting software.

**Education**:

- A university degree (B.A./ B.Sc./ M.B.A.) in Business (preferably specialising in accountancy or another financial-related discipline).
- Good English level and writing skills; other languages, particularly French would be an advantage.
