**The role**
The Payments Entity Management team has responsibility for ensuring the smooth and compliant running of our payment entities around the world. We are looking for an outstanding Finance Leader to join the team in Luxembourg.
This Authorised Manager role will lead the finance-related requirements and support our various global stakeholders to develop and maintain payment operations in line with various laws and regulations. The leader will have a strong finance background and take on a multifaceted and fast paced role with frequent interaction internally and directly with regulators. The role reports to the Senior Director, Global Payment Entity Management.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Member of the Authorised Management Executive Committee and Authorised Manager for the EU payment entity based in Luxembourg.
- Oversee and execute payment entity finance related activity through co-ordination with global finance, controlling and treasury teams. Provide regulatory finance support to other payment entities around the world.
- Coordinate and implement a strategy to deliver strong, clear governance on financial matters across the entities.
- Participate in board meetings to present all finance related activity.
- Develop internal network across all relevant areas including treasury, controlling, internal audit, outsourcing and legal departments.
- Act as a key representative for the entity for audits (internal and external) ensuring detailed planning and preparation for all finance related audits ahead of time and Management Action Plans are actioned. Take ownership to close regulatory issues related to financial matters.
**Key Requirements**:
- Experience working with regulated entities, preferably in Europe (e.g., CSSF, FCA, BaFin).
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, P&L movements, data retrieval, financial statement interpretation.
- Ability to lead through influence and work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and to lead cross functionally, act quickly, and decisively with outstanding attention to detail.
- Strategic and creative problem solver with self-confidence, ‘can do’ attitude, sound judgement and a good sense of humour
- Consistent track record for handling complex projects across large and distributed organizations.
- Establish close working relationships with key business and corporate partners, particularly across the finance, controlling treasury, outsourcing and internal audit to lead through influence and drive delivery in a matrix environment.
- Effective executive level communicator with strong attention to detail, documentation, and executional follow through.
- Standout colleague with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
**Other**
- 10+ years working in senior finance related position, ideally in a regulated entity
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
