Join us as Product Support Analyst
The Product Support Analyst will join Fund Services Product Support Team that works closely with the Global Fund Services Business lines to support and ensure Fund Services is operating as one cohesive business line globally by practice across the Fund Accounting and Fund Administration pillars.
The individual will help the team with the coordination and oversight of product offering strategy and profitability and investment objectives including the priority of development across Fund Services globally.
The Product Support Analyst will be part of a team that will be the gate keepers for Fund Services requests for systems development related to new functionality and requests for new product offerings.
The Fund Services Product Support Team also works closely with business lines, systems, change management, and external technology providers to identify and execute on investments that are aligned with the Product’s overall strategy. This is instrumental in defining IRG initiatives and ensuring they align with the firm's enterprise level strategy as well as executing on our Globalization initiative.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Analysis and Product Support- Support Performance Fees setup of new clients, new funds, new classes.- Analysis of the Prospectus in regard to Performance Fees and the way it has been defined in the tool.- Analysis of the standardization of the Performance Fees process
2. Strategy- Collaborate with Fund Accounting and Fund Administration Business teams, the firm’s centralized strategy team, and other Product groups on market, regulatory, and client trends to help team set Fund Services strategy- Support the team to set Fund Services strategy for implementation of firmwide initiatives including but not limited to Emerging Technology Adoption, Data Infrastructure, and Digital Client Experience- Collate internal and external driven enhancement requests according to strategic need to support Fund Accounting and Fund Administration to determine Fund Services Investment
3. Oversight- Oversee the prioritization of development across Fund Services platforms.-
- Oversee Market Data costs and recoupment across Fund Services- Oversee and provide analysis support for the financials of Fund Services Product through interactions with the firm’s Controllers
4. Client Service-
- Support team with client and prospect meetings when appropriate to present on BBH initiatives and developments- Support marketing initiatives by providing content and collaborating on creative approach for Fund Services
4.Teamwork- Seek out and participate in team and interdepartmental projects.
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)- BS/BA degree, and/or equivalent work experience.- 2 to 3 years Fund Accounting experience required.- 0 to 2 years prior business analyst experience required.- 3 to 5 years related experience in the financial services industry.- Prior exposure to financial service systems projects and support.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)- Very good knowledge of Excel- Working knowledge of BBH STAR is a plus-
- Written and verbal communication skills- Aptitude for understanding global business considerations when implementing new business systems- Ability to work with business users and systems personnel in a team environment- Ability to network across the enterprise to drive issues to closure- Experience writing and reviewing business requirements- Experience preparing and executing test scripts- Experience with implementation plan preparation and execution
