**Role purpose**

Be responsible for managing a growing portfolio of clients and offering to the entire client portfolio a high level of services. The position will also be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities.

Provide direction to the relevant department/function. Maintains a satisfactory relationship with regulators, auditors and any other interested internal/external parties. Ensure that the company achieves, or exceeds, Business Plan working capital requirements and profitability.

**Accountabilities and main responsibilities**

SERVICE DELIVERY & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Prepare the client service offer in collaboration with BUD and BD to ensure that services are accurately described and priced.
- On-board properly each new client from the first contact to the operational set-up.
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships from an operational and strategic perspective.
- Identify opportunities to obtain additional revenues within the assigned client account.
- Effectively manage the working capital requirements of the business, including billing of the recurrent /non-recurrent fees and WIP, avoid any receivable of more than 120 days and avoid any WIP of more than 90 days.
- Take ownership of any escalated client needs/request/issues.
- Produce periodic reporting to the Managing Director on current health and profitability of clients, including any risks.
- Ensure that the client structures respect at any time Risk and Compliance laws and procedures.
- Ensure that Apex Services are properly managed to ensure the company and clients are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Cultivate and expand existing business relationships through frequent communication, including formal and informal meetings and client visits.
- Ensure that service agreement is in line with the service delivered by Apex Corporate Services and that the invoicing occurs in a timely manner and is aligned with the service agreement and the service delivered by Apex Corporate Services.
- Manage on a regular basis with Business Unit Directors the client’s specific requirements.
- Assist in the periodic Compliance file review by producing for each client entity under management the relevant up to date information that demonstrates our understanding of the client, the transactions and client structure (including UBO). Provide for personal assessment on the risk profile (as per the Apex Risk Profile), tax structuring aspect (as per the Apex Guidelines as well as any other guideline or regulation considered to be relevant and applicable to the client file) and on the transactional monitoring aspect of a client entity structure, when so requested by the Compliance Department.

MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION
- Demonstrate model behaviour and promote a positive team atmosphere in the teams and departments within Apex Corporate Services.
- Communicate effectively with the teams and departments within Apex Corporate Services and ensure that key messages are communicated clearly with follow up and are understood by the recipient.
- Actively share legal and regulatory matters and developments with the teams and departments within Apex Corporate Services.

DIRECTORSHIP
- Act as a Manager/Director or similar principal role on a portfolio of client companies and structures when requested.
- Clearly understand responsibilities and obligations of a company director/manager so as to serve as a Manager/Director on client companies.

**General**
- ** Managing change**: advise on potential impact of change within Business Area (legal and regulatory). Manage the complex interdependencies between the structure, people, process and technology dimensions of change. Actively identify change opportunities and implement/refer where appropriate. Influence the change agenda at C&PCS and where appropriate a divisional level.
- ** Leadership**: lead execution of strategic vision within department/function. Communicate requirements, dependencies, market issues etc. to facilitate effective, knowledge based decision making. Act as a role model and mentor to more junior team members (Client Director Only)
- ** Business knowledge**: understand and maintain C&PCS/Apex Corporate Services proposition and position in that market place. Influence business thinking and agenda. Anticipate and develop market needs.
- ** Relationship management**: act as a role model. Foster mutually beneficial relationships throughout Apex Corporate Services/Group. Have a strong network of connections within one or more industries and use these relationships to gain market intelligence and identify opportunities. Develop excellent client relationships fostering client retention and referrals leading to new business.
- ** Sales**: take accountability for management and strategic direction of sales portfolio within department/business area. Utilise Group/divisional contacts to leverage/build mutually beneficial partnerships. Take ultimate responsibility for delivering
