Amazon Business Customer Service is looking for a Senior Translation and Localization Program Manager to drive our global localization strategy and successful delivery of our localized knowledge solutions.

As a Senior Localization Program Manager, you will report to the Snr Manager ABCS Knowledge and be part of the Knowledge leadership team. You will be responsible for ideation and execution of strategical business directions and goals. You will collaborate with internal and external business partners, as well as with the Amazon wide Localization community; influencing localization processes and standards. You will advocate for the customer and seek innovative solutions. You will operate with mínimal guidance in situations where strong judgment is required for solving complex problems. Through a data-driven approach, you will identify process improvements and design solutions to scale our localization program through technology and automation.

You will support a global cross-functional teams of content developers and instructional designers and you will directly manage a Localization Engineer. You will be and advocate for best practices, you will seek continuous improvement to reduce effort from users and costs for the company without compromising on quality. You will be able to dive deep on data to create compelling narratives.

Key job responsibilities

- Audit performance and manage relationships with language services providers
- Support international expansion of Amazon Business by implementing efficient and scalable localization solutions
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to advocate localization best practices, improve and automate translation processes and tools, and ensure consistent customer experience globally
- Identify process improvements and devise solutions that decrease cost and reduce time-to-market of localized products
- Support business teams in implementing innovative Machine Learning based customer experience solutions
- Manage translation budget
- Evangelize internationalization and localization best practices

About the team
The ABCS Knowledge team is a global organization of 35+ people across the world. We operate from a centralized and single source, global alignment strategy. We are a multidisciplinary team made of Content Developers, Instructional Designers, Trainers, Content Strategists and Translation and Localization Experts.
