**THE COMPANY**:
Our client is a global investment management firm, holding a dual licence as a UCITS Management Company and AIFM. They are looking for an Operational Risk & Oversight Manager to join the team in Luxembourg.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Management and enhancement of the Operational Risks Management framework including supporting the respective business functions in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating operational and business risks as well as defining & implementing adequate mitigation measures
- Managing and enhancing the selection & onboarding process in respect to key service providers (including coordination of setup of KPI delivery by the delegates and service level agreements)
- Performing initial and ongoing Due Diligence on LUX delegates, including onsite visits
- Organization /coordination of service reviews on LUX key delegates
- Key contact point for overarching service provider topics and escalation
- Administration and coordination of the LUX process
- and control framework and support of business functions in process-management and policy-maintenance
- Management, coordination and further development of the IT and Information Security Risk Management framework and close cooperation with IT and business functions units to identify and assess information security risks
- Maintenance and further development of the Internal Control System along LUX’s value chain
- Coordination and lead of the annual assessment cycle, specifically the performance, validation and documentation of risk and control assessments with the process and control owner
- Support and advise Management and business functions in Risk related matters and ongoing reporting to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Management Committee, Board of Directors)
- Promoting a sound risk culture including coordination of staff-trainings and maintenance of awareness-programs

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 3+ years of professional operational risk management (incl. oversight) expertise, IT risk management or audit expertise and experience in the investment funds industry (AIF and UCITS).
- Entrepreneurial mind-set and experience to set-up, implement required processes and further improve them (knowledge in process modelling standards is a bonus)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills and ability to challenge new ideas from a risk perspective
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. German and/or French are a plus.
- Strong team player, dynamic and resilient with the ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of MS Office
