Establishing, building and developing customer relations.
- Know and understand the customer in depth, proactively assess their needs
- Obtain RFQs from the customers and negotiate new business according to the strategy to obtain the targeted contracts. This includes the management of the full quotation process in close cooperation with the corresponding departments.
- Co-actor in the program development: define with the Program Managers the optimal solutions from economical / technical / timing points of view, negotiate the economic opportunities with the customer.
- Track and act on key metrics relevant for the performance (profitability, market price )
- Develop, propose and implement solution strategies within the framework defined with the Sales Director.
- Drive the plant teams in continuous improvement actions, to meet the strategic goals and to differentiate from the competition.
- Engineering, Economics or Business Administration degree with professional technical sales experience
- Knowledge of the automotive industry processes and OEM processes, incl. it’s various fields: quality, contractual terms and conditions, quoting, logistics, Engineering changes, R&D etc.
- Good IT Skills (MS Office)
- Business fluent in English and German; French is considered an advantage.
