For one of our main customer, active in the Banking sector in Luxemburg, we are searching for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager.

Tasks/responsibilities

Ensure the successful completion of all the phases of the projects, including architecture and analysis, infrastructure development, testing and production implementation
Work in autonomy on the projects you are assigned to and report on your activity to your line management in the Business Services and Change Section; participate in approx. 4 production implementations each year (Saturday work)
Formally inventory and plan all the activities required for the achievement of the project's goals in terms of deliverable, resource, time frame, dependencies and effort/cost
Manage the cost and oversee the purchasing of required software, hardware and other infrastructure assets
Keep track of and report on the progress of all activities; ensure you have a correct appreciation of the quality of the deliverables
Onboard all contributing resources; ensure good communication between them; follow-up and facilitate their activity in the project
Take decisions/make trade-offs, appropriately impacting project scope, timeline, resourcing and budget, possibly in accordance with expert opinion that you have collected
Manage and report on project budget and risks; reconcile actuals against planned effort/cost

Qualifications/required skills

3+ years university degree in IT and 5+ years professional experience in IT project management

Very good technical understanding of the challenges pertaining to the following IT infrastructure areas:

- Distributed, multi-tier systems running Linux and Microsoft Windows
- System high-availability
- Web Internet information security
- Provisioning and operation of Public Cloud resources - preferably Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform

Understanding of the complete IT change lifecycle, from early IT architecture to final production implementation

Very good organization skills; ability to mobilize tools and methodologies to efficiently anticipate, follow-up and take decisions on delivery scope, budget, resourcing, timeline and produce appropriate reporting; ability to follow-up on the work of multiple expert teams simultaneously

Experience in complex, business-critical, regulated environments. Expertise within financial services is considered an asset

Excellent documentation and presentation skills
Proficiency in written and spoken English; French and German language skills will be an asse
