**The role and responsibilities**:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to actively support a high-quality central billing process and work in close cooperation with the different business departments.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who is proactive and able to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in completing assignments.
**As Billing Officer, you will be in charge of**:
- Generate invoices/credit notes/close-outs specific to client accounts/engagement letters/contracts/internal policies
- Deliver invoices to clients via digital mail services and via supplier platforms
- Communicate with internal and external clients to collect documentation for invoicing, inputting and processing transactions into our Practice management system (STAR)
- Contribute to enhanced data quality by regular updates of job records according to information from business
- Support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close
- Closely monitor job management (close or suspend jobs, Time transfers, WIP write-off, write-on, close outs,...)
- Execute test plans for new releases of Practice management system (STAR)
- Actively participate in projects
- Other ad hoc administrative duties
- You have a bachelor's degree in business administration, office management or accounting
- You are able to answer daily queries in a professional and confident manner
- You are an effective team player and able to demonstrate initiative
- You are dynamic and rigorous; you are detailed oriented and demonstrate strong organization and analytical skills
- You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both written as well as spoken English and French (German will be considered an advantage)
