**_ Mission_**: Responsible for the assigned KEY & STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS for the corresponding segment. The main objective is the maintenance and development of the accounts assigned, as well as attracting new accounts and generating new business within existing accounts, especially for hotels and destinations with special needs, guaranteeing the achievement of the budget and sales objectives defined in the action plan for the segment.

**_STRATEGY_**
- Participate in projects whenever required

**_BUDGET_**
- Analyse the achievement of revenue and room night objectives in their assigned accounts, constantly monitoring performance and defining and implementing any action plans required to achieve the objectives defined for each account

**_HOTEL BUSINESS PLAN_**
- Prepare a sales action plan for their accounts ensuring that it responds to the needs of hotels with potential for growth/positioning in those accounts. The action plan will include joint actions with hotels (site inspections, fam trips, presentations, etc.)

**_GROUP/LEAD MANAGEMENT_**
- Lead the negotiation with groups in their portfolio to ensure success and increase the conversion ratio. Coordinate with the Group Desk to ensure the effective management of leads and responses to their accounts.

**_ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT_**
- Point of contact with Meliá Hotels International for the assigned key accounts. Plan and implement a schedule for visits and actions to develop the client portfolio, making visits to clients and explaining the characteristics of the company's hotels and their attributes in order to recommend destinations and hotels to clients, making presentations whenever necessary. Send information to accounts about promotions, new openings, brochures, etc.
- Be aware of all the business sources that their assigned accounts may be able to generate
- Attract & Develop new, unassigned M&E accounts in BENELUX region for any Meliá Hotels International hotel especially target to follow segments: Associations and partners, congress organizations, Incentives agencies, Sports clubs, cultural institutions and entertainment management.
- Attract & Develop new BT accounts in BENELUX region for any Meliá Hotels International hotel especially target to follow segments: Government institutions, Pharmaceuticals, Airline Crews, Food & Beverage and Financial.
- Evaluate competitors to ensure actions remain up-to-date and provide qualitative information to their direct manager to assess best practices
- Negotiate, draft and sign agreements for the assigned accounts. If applicable, complete RFPs to maximise the presence of hotels in said agreements.
- Point of contact for any possible incidents with accounts, responsible for closing the incident and offering a solution to the client.
- Prepare an annual sales budget proposal for each of the accounts assigned, presenting it to their manager for approval

**_TRADE FAIRS_**
- Attendance at segment-specific industry events and trade fairs
- Organization and co-ordination sales calls, blitz and events for Melia hotels colleagues within the BENELUX region.
- Organization and participate to Fam Trip within the Sales actions

**_DIGITALISATION_**
- Propose, develop and participate in virtual sales actions for the segment, ensuring the participation of their client portfolio and helping increase the number of followers of the TravelLabs platform

**_SITE INSPECTION_**
- Organise site inspections for their accounts based on business potential by hotel/destination.
- Attend those site inspections that require their presence
