**Principal Category Manager Networks Operation Support Services & Power Network Infrastructure (NOSS&PNI)**

As a Principal Category Manager NOSS&PNI you will lead and develop a small team of 3 to 4 category managers to drive the Category Strategy for Operation Support Services, Networks Analytics and Power Network Infrastructure, to deliver the optimal cost of ownership for the Category and Opex reduction in line with company objectives. Together with the team you will drive the transformation of Operation Support Services, Networks Analytics and Power Network Infrastructure

**Job Responsibility**:

- You will- Manage the delivery of global category strategies and support the development of local category strategies as required with a focus on the OSS Simplification and the Energy transformation Programs
- Deliver innovative commercial models, contributing to the category supplier roadmap and ensuring that longer term sourcing decision are considered during category development
- Build a strategic partnership with the internal stakeholders to support the constant deployment and performance of Vodafone OSS NW Domain, challenge the status quo, and lead improvements across the end-to-end value chain
- Coordinate and Lead an effective governance throughout the sourcing process, interacting with senior executives of Group and Local Markets
- Drive the innovation of commercial and contracting models, ensuring focus of Suppliers/Partners on expected business outcomes and risk mitigation
- Acts as a leader, escalation, and focal point for issues within own Category
- Lead negotiation with Suppliers and Partners and realise value and savings for Group and/or Local Market and sign relevant contracts

It would be nice if you have- Have the customer at the heart with every decision-making, and the ability to implement clear fulfilment plans, actions and metrics to deliver customer satisfaction
- Good knowledge of Telecom Markets, Supply Chain dynamics & key players and relevant technology category management
- Successful experience of having worked at a similar level and enthusiastic to work with Customers
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisation skills

You must have- Business degree or equivalent in business management, CIPS would be advantageous
- Experience of working within telecoms industry and particularly knowledge of Operations Support Systems and Power Network Infrastructure would be advantageous
- Experienced of working within Supply Chain at both a global and local level
- Track record of successfully managed virtual teams
- Knowledge of Business Improvement techniques and Change Management
- A clear stakeholder engagement approach supported when necessary with a clear communication plan
- Effective influencing of internal stakeholders and external suppliers #Groupresourcing
