**The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine** (FSTM) contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of **Mathematics**, **Physics**, **Engineering**, **Computer Science**, **Life Sciences** and **Medicine**. **Your Role...**:
Your roles will include:
- conducting basic research and contributing to international publications in the area of Big Data Analytics;
- developing software prototypes and experimentally evaluating your results on current Big Data platforms (such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, etc.);
- assisting in Bachelor/Master projects and courses.
**What we expect from you**:
- Master degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong mathematical and algorithmic background
- Excellent programming skills in Java, Scala and/or Python
- Background in distributed architectures, deep learning and/or natural-language
processing is a plus
- Good communication skills, commitment, team working, and a critical mind
