Join us as a Transfer Agency (TA) Investor on Boarding (IOB) Team Leader

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Transfer Agency (TA) Investor on Boarding (IOB) Team Leader to join our Luxembourg team on a fixed-term contract. In this role you will be responsible for directing team members within the IOB Team with the objective of achieving measurably high level of client satisfaction. You will need to demonstrate and continue to develop your expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML). You will use your developed analytical skills, professionalism and integrity in the best interests of the firm and the clients we partner with. To be successful in the role you will be well-versed in working collaboratively, have a solutions-orientated and risk-averse approach and effectively enable and develop a team of strong performing individuals to reach their potential.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

- Assisting and covering for the manager in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the TA AML / KYC Investor On Boarding team
- Reviewing and escalating issues with the IOB Manager, Compliance, Senior Management
- Actively participating and working with relationship managers and TA Production Support in the launch of any new or incremental business such as new funds/share classes, including account opening
- Overseeing the accurate preparation of any sample files required for internal or external audits
- Assessing AML/KYC due diligence requirements on a range of institutional clients types with different legal structures, in all jurisdictions, to support businesses across various product groups and regions
- Establishing service standards and procedures for the IOB Team together with the IOB Manager, TA Department Head, Compliance and Risk
- Establish solid contacts with all areas and all levels at clients’ organizations as well as inter departmental
- Undertake the performance review of team members and recommend promotions to the Registration / IOB Manager
- Work with management to address the training needs of the group (including the industry specific topics)
- Establish successful level of synergy within TA team

Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in Funds Industry / Transfer Agency, including AML/ Compliance or Risk function
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
- Deep expertise in AML/KYC legal requirements
- Experience in on-shore and offshore Funds and AML regulations
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory
