You will be part of the Market Intelligence department, whose mission is to provide knowledge and insights to foster innovation and support the economic development of Luxembourg. Our Market Intelligence Analysts are a driving force, collecting and analysing essential information and data on innovation ecosystems and market trends, to support a better collective decision-making process.

The department is currently involved in an Interreg project called GREATER GREEN +, which primarily aims to map the current market of environmental solutions and services offered in the Greater Region.

To reinforce the team and to support the management of this mission, Luxinnovation is looking for an Economic Intelligence Analyst (M/F):
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Data collection and analysis: Identify and collect information on companies, market trends, economic sectors and other relevant topics related to innovation, digitalisation, and sustainability.
- Reporting: Analyse and perform financial, statistical, economic, and qualitative evaluations of the collected data, with an emphasis on the quality and accuracy of information.
- Strategic support: Translate data, analysis and knowledge into actionable and effective market intelligence insights and formulate strategic recommendations to support effective economic development strategies.
- Understandable outputs: Deliver results in a clear and easy-to-understand manner to best support the decision-making process on innovation, either as reports, databases, dashboards, infographics, or decision-support systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide economic insights that support innovation projects and initiatives.
- Forecasting: identify, detect, and report on current and expected market trends most likely to impact innovation ecosystems.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master’s degree, preferably in economics, econometry, economic intelligence or business engineering.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills combined with a sound business acumen.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis (i.e., income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, etc.), economic and market analyses.
- Ability to translate data into intelligible and concise graphical representation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset, coupled with a proactive attitude.
- Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for critical thinking.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (notably Excel); good knowledge of data visualisation tools (Power BI, etc.) and AI-powered tools will be considered as a strong asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. A good command of French will be considered a plus.
- A good knowledge of Luxembourg and its national economy will be considered a major advantage.
