**We are seeking a Proposal Project Team Leader**

Business Services are the backbone of KPMG, crucial to setting our business on the path to success. As a Proposal Project Team Leader you will help increase the firm's bid success rate through:

- Provision of strategic advice, coaching and constructive challenge to partners and senior staff on individual strategic proposal
- Promotion of firm's pursuit methodology and coaching to all levels of staff on best practice and winning behaviors
- Ensuring strategic pursuits are managed and delivered effectively, efficiently and adhere to firm's policies and quality standards
- Training and mentoring of proposal team members thereby increasing the skills and capability within the service lines
- Development and continuous improvement of bid best practice and knowledge sharing with other proposal or pursuits' team throughout the KPMG Pursuits Community
- Drive quality, efficiencies, and bid automation through the creation and implementation of rigorous process, controls, templates and technology
- Supporting innovative new approaches and technologies to proposal creation and delivery to help improve the client sales experience and differentiate the firm in the market

**What you will be working on**

Maintain a connectivity with the accounts management team and share success stories and best practices through proposal team

Embedding a business development culture:
Evolve our people and our go-to-market activities to meet client expectations through three specific areas: mindset, skillset and discipline. These three core elements underpin the KPMG Way philosophy

Promote MarketEdge throughout the firm and effectively manage the implementation of the process to ensure timely completion.
- Provide strategic end-to-end program management on the acquisition and retention of large client/business projects by:

- Working closely with the Account Management team in conducting an in-depth analysis of key accounts and new businesses issuing the RFP (Request for Proposal), and the key decision makers and influencers involved on the client side;
- Challenging & coaching Opportunity Leaders (OL) and team in all aspects of the proposal process by bringing best practice and new ideas to the process, integrating methodologies and training from KPMG and other external providers;
- Developing a bespoke strategy, positioning and messaging to appeal to the business and client side teams;
- Bring the client perspective and ensure strategy will engage the client and our proposition is compelling not just compliant
- Challenge decision to tender, team selection and team chemistry
- Input into and challenge of the value proposition: specifically ensuring client proposition and the key messages are clear and incorporated into all collateral and contact plan
- Help develop the approach to site visits/client meetings and ensure the learning loop in place to capture insights gained and strategy revised as appropriate
- Facilitate and input into the storyboard and the development of content for all collateral and review of all materials: are the value proposition, benefits and KPMG differentiators clear?
- Facilitate and input into pitch preparation sessions and advise on the use of appropriate visual aids
- Act as a mediator and problem-solver in the case of minor incidents or difficult situations, and escalates issues and conflicts in a timely manner to the Head of Markets
- Ensure all team members have a clear understanding of their roles and the input required and challenge any capacity/commitment issues
- Manage effectively the proposal team by:

- Supervising team members workload, skills development and yearly performance assessment
- Planning, organizing and distributing the tasks within the team and providing coaching when required
- Delegating work efficiently and addressing issues of excessive workload when necessary
- Help drive collaboration between the respective divisions (Pursuits Team, Create and Innovate Agency, Sales Team, Business Team) to form a pursuit team in the sales pursuit of the project, and leading major team meetings
- Facilitating the pursuit of smaller client/business projects by Sales and Business teams by working with Pursuits and Business team to develop product, service, tender and proposal documents and
