**Your Role...**
The postdoc fellow will be working on dynamics of non-Hermitian quantum systems. The applicant should be a creative and motivated researcher with knowledge on one or all of the following:
- Many-body physics
- Quantum optics
- Quantum dynamics
- Stochastic processes
Your possible role: develop and characterize master equation for the description of open quantum systems.
1. Develop a simplified derivation of the commonly used master equation in the wave function picture
2. Develop a master equation for all coupling strengths
3. Characterize new master equations
You should be inclined towards analytical analysis, although numerics will be equally developed during the project. Knowing tools of stochastic and spectral analysis is an asset. You will be closely interacting with one PhD student.
