**Legal Counsel** (specializing in TV/Content distribution deals)
**Location Luxembourg,**

As a Legal Counsel you will be responsible to support the Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC) in Luxembourg with all legal matters arising in their businesses, in particular international procurement agreements related to TV Content and Content distribution deals.
- You will work on a day-to-day basis directly with commercial category managers and interact closely with the Commercial Operations and Intellectual Property legal team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate in Group Legal and cross-functional initiatives (the "Responsible Areas").
You will
- Provide legal advice and support for contracts and other legal documents in the Responsible Areas
- Manage and provide accurate, expert, effective and timely legal advice in relation to all matters arising in the Responsible Areas, taking into account the commercial environment (including but not limited to reviewing, drafting, structuring and negotiating contracts in the Responsible Areas
- Provide support in compliance programmes in the Responsible Areas (in areas such as anti-bribery, sanctions, competition law, and data privacy) and in our industry initiatives to promote best practice
- Develop and deliver tools and best practice and share know-how, including tools for the business to provide it with guidance and enable it to undertake self-service activity (including training, guidance notes, playbooks and templates)
- Work effectively and collaboratively with team members, and other teams and key stakeholders, including local market legal teams, other teams in Group Legal and External Affairs, Group Finance and business functions
- Work with Intellectual Property Rights, Data Protection, Tax, Finance, Operations, Regulatory and other VPC, Enterprise and Local Market functions to assist in all matters related to Responsible Areas

It would be nice if you have
- Experience in Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT)
- Excellent communicator and ability to give specialist advice to commercial colleagues in order to drive decisions and resolve complex
- Highly experienced in reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts in English under EU law
- An international outlook and entrepreneurial mindset

You must have
- Good knowledge of relevant law and awareness of legal developments that may affect the Vodafone Business
- Knowledge of reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in English
- Experience in working in an international business as part of a multi-cultural and/or cross-border team
- Strong communication and influencing skills
