**Job Description**:
Are you a Luxembourg based expert who is proficient in the valuation of infrastructure assets? If so, our asset management client has an excellent opportunity to join its thriving international office in Luxembourg.
The role sits within a team of 4, reporting to the Conducting Officer for Valuations, but you’ll also have extensive international liaison. The core asset class is infrastructure, though you will also touch on other real assets such as real estate, or debt and private equity.
In the role you will:
- Further develop your existing knowledge of the valuation of infrastructure investments and real asset valuations in the context of a risk-resilient approach, ensuring proficiency in financial modelling, financial analysis and valuations for assets
- Undertake ongoing monitoring of the performance of various private infrastructure assets
- Work alongside third party auditors in investment monitoring and with external valuation service providers
- Liaise closely with internal teams locally and internationally in relation to the investments, providing your valuations expertise
To be considered for this role:
- You will already have between 3 - 7 years’ experience working in the field of valuations of (ideally private market) assets
- Possess a degree in accounting or finance
- Be adept at financial modelling, particularly with infrastructure experience
- You must be comfortable working in an English speaking environment, in an international team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You will have strong knowledge of DCF calculations, and databases such as S&P, Bloomberg, Capita IQ, etc.
- You may already be working in an asset manager working in the valuation team, or in the financial modelling / valuation team of an accounting firm, ideally with some private markets knowledge.
