10+ years of experience in Finance in a relevant industry, marketplace or consumer business. - Strong ability to lead through influencing in a highly matrixed organization. - Proven business partnering role to senior management in business and tech teams. - Experience with people management and leading high performing teams. - Highly analytical, detail oriented with advanced financial modelling and reporting skills. - Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy. - Superior attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, though never losing the big picture. - Strong track record of process improvement, including the ability to innovate and to simplify to drive better and faster decisions. - Fluent in English and outstanding communication skills.

To support the growth of one of our strategic categories and manage expansion plans into seller services business in EU third-party (3P), we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to be a part of our growing EU 3P Central Finance in our headquarter in Luxembourg. The Marketplace 3P business encompasses the seller business on Amazon, which includes both sellers using their own logistic networks, as well as those that leverage Amazon’s global fulfillment and customer service network, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).
Key job responsibilities
- Co-own the financial success of the Marketplace/Seller Service business in EU, by consulting, challenging and influencing business decisions, while driving long-term growth.
- Engage with business teams on designing, sizing and implementing strategic growth initiatives such as promotions, product launches and services expansions.
- Lead planning and reporting processes for the selected category and seller businesses, as part of periodic business reviews (monthly/quarterly/full year), including detailed P&Ls and bridges/reconciliations to explain business trends/
- Investigate growth and profitability drivers, identifying risk and opportunity areas and implementing appropriate processes to ensure the right level of controllership.
- Develop the team’s vision through making great hiring decisions, provide career growth and mentoring to finance team members. Lead and manage a team of three finance professionals.
