**The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine** (FSTM) contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of **Mathematics**, **Physics**, **Engineering**, **Computer Science**, **Life Sciences** and **Medicine**. Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens, in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.
**Your Role...**:
- The main topics of the project through which the position is funded include: Pseudo-Riemannian Geometry, Conformal, and Projective Geometry
- Contribute to research and write a thesis in the field
- Limited teaching activity (at most 3 hours/week).
**What we expect from you**:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics.
- Dedication to doing research level mathematics.
- Willingness to integrate in a team.
- Solid knowledge in Differential Geometry and Lie Groups.
- Good written and oral skills in English. Some knowledge of French and/or German is helpful, but not required.
