Job summary
The Owned Content and Channels (OCC) team, which sits within Public Relations, helps customers understand what Amazon is doing globally to foster a great workplace, become more sustainable as a company, support small business, drive innovation, and more. By promoting compelling stories from a wide range of perspectives on our global About Amazon websites, we tell the larger story of who Amazon is and how Amazon's core business practices contribute to a better world. The OCC team is looking for a customer-obsessed and experienced web editor, someone who is comfortable with all aspects of website management, from building pages in a content management system (CMS), to managing editorial calendars, to optimizing metadata across websites.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the daily management of several European About Amazon websites. Ensure the sites contain new content relevant to local marketplaces.
- Monitor website metrics, identify issues and opportunities, and develop tactical and strategic plans to optimize sites.
- Implement strategies to distribute and promote reputational content through owned and emerging channels.
- Manage website campaigns, including A/B tests and other experiments. Note the attributes of winning treatments, and report on results to ensure we are always testing new ideas.
- Manage assets in our content management system and translate global best practices, such as SEO guidelines, into actions for marketplaces in several locations.
- Ability to pull data, use metrics to back up assumptions and deliver measurement reports with clear data-based recommendations; experience with A/B testing as well as website metrics.
- Product management experience, comfort working with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven track record assuming ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas, and delivering results and in a fast-paced online environment.
- Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Excellent story judgment and interest in story-telling.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently.
- Fluency in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, or Swedish.
