Amazon is seeking an exceptionally talented, innovative, extremely hands-on, customer-obsessed HR Business Partner with a passion for establishing first-class HR strategies to join our highly professional People eXperience & Technology International Central and Support Functions (PXT Ops ICSF) team.

Key job responsibilities

This role will support the International Central and Support Functions leaders across Europe, comprising several hundred people and both strategic and operational leaders. Ensuring outstanding customer focus by delivering value-add, best in class HR support to internal customer groups across Europe:

- Own and manage the relationships with client group business leaders, including Directors.
- Develop and own the delivery of the strategic HR plan for each business supported, ensuring consistency with EU and global HR goals.
- Act as a consultant to your client groups and provide input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans, acting as an integral member of each group’s management team.
- Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, engagement and retention activities, including an understanding of compensation and benefits and development activity.
- Support and develop line managers in driving a performance culture through coaching, facilitating talent assessments and succession planning meetings.
- Provide expert input to your client groups as well as the HR team in terms of employment legislation, policies and practices.
- Support the design and delivery of appropriate training and development programs.
- Deliver on business-critical HR related projects
- Ensure alignment of HR related programs by partnering with peers and colleagues globally across both Operations and Corporate business units.
