Senior Cloud Architect

We are launching a new challenge: to find a driven and talented **Senior Cloud architect**

You are a confirmed expert in designing and implementing solutions based on the Cloud platform and SaaS and SAM technologies.

**Strategic studies**
- Lead the solution architecture definition with technical cross-functional teams in a hybrid cloud environments;
- Interpretation of licencing rights and obligations in light of contractual clauses, EULAs, licence grants and other relevant documents for Cloud SaaS products or Bring Your Own Licence (BYOL) scenarios
- Negotiations support for SaaS negotiations
- Provide SaaS and PaaS/IaaS budget evolution and forecasting information
- Creation and maintenance of licence and SaaS contract entries in the Software Asset Management (SAM) system
- Preparation and execution of Software Asset Management (SAM) actions in order to bring into compliance or optimize licences in the SaaS and BYOL space in cooperation with other stakeholders
- Monitoring and optimization of Cloud consumption costs in PaaS/IaaS scenarios and ensuring the compliance with policies and BYOL licencing rules for those scenarios
- Assistance with project management of the implementation of SaaS and PaaS/IaaS tooling
- Truly advice the customer to new insights and get him ahead of change;
- Analysis of complex integrated hybrid cloud solution.

**Your main activities**
- Actively leading the solution architecture Blueprint;
- Regular interactions and effective collaboration with all project stakeholders (Network Security, PKI, IAM, Application development, Software packaging, Operations, and Partners);
- Work closely with all project stakeholders to communicate solution impacts and to understand technical requirements;
- Proactively identify risks and explain the impact on functional and non-functional solution requirements;
- Familiar with and are able to guide the project team with different system architecture patterns depending on use cases;
- Contribute in project coordination and transition to production implementation;
- Analyze, configure, test, and document cloud security policies, and configuration profiles in line with the customer security and data protection policies;
- Design and implement solutions for Microsoft surfaces, HP laptops and BYOD platforms;
- Work closely with Network security, and PKI teams to implement VPN solution;
- Actively contribute to the identity and access management solutions and policies;
- Review hybrid cloud development environment for technical improvements;
- Contribute to migration plans;
- Participate in POC phase to design and run tests to select adequate solution;
- Provide solutions that are highly scalable, extensible, and easy to maintain while keeping the overall end-user experience in mind.

**And in terms of technical know-how?**
- Good knowledge of governance tools and principles (Azure Policy, Azure RBAC, Subscriptions, Management Groups, etc);
- Experience with encoding of free-form legal clauses and/or other specifications into rules in an IT system
- Good knowledge of DNS principles;
- Experience with data conversion to enable import into an IT system
- Experience with configuration of an IT system
- Experience with Data Protection issues encountered with Cloud contracting in Europe within the GDPR/EUDPR regulatory framework
- Ability to prepare and present compliance reports based on contracts or industry standards
- Infrastructure as Code: good knowledge in editing and producing artifacts (Power Apps) and scripts (Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell);
- Experience in VPN infrastructure (Cisco Any connect) implementation;
- Experience with JIRA, and Service Now tools is a plus;
- Experience in implementing Cisco any connect VPN integrated solution with Intune;
- Deep understanding of cloud services and technologies with a focus on MS Azure platform;
- Experience working with agile frameworks (SCRUM).

**Education**:

- A master degree in IT or equal by experience and at least 5 years of professional experience; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

- A Cloud certification is not mandatory, but Cloud certifications (either generic or platform specific) will be considered an asset, especially in the cost control/management and compliance domain).
