Our Client, a leading Private Markets firm, is looking for Senior Compliance Officer to join their team based in Luxembourg on a **permanent **basis. The role will be working closely with the Head of the team, supporting in the Compliance Monitoring Plan, the implementation of policies and procedures, and assisting the Head of the Team on BAU responsibilities.

Other responsibilities include:

- Supporting in the preparation of the compliance and AML internal reporting, for example board reporting, risk, and compliance committee reporting.
- Supporting the regulatory registration and notification process regarding new AIFs or related to the AIFs activities (major holding, major change in the prospectus, marketing notifications)
- Coordinating with and assisting the CCO in the correspondence and reporting with local authorities (CSSF, AED), and internal and external audit requests.
- Provide regulatory advice to the business where required, including representing compliance on project work, internal meetings etc.
- Conduct regulatory analysis on new regulations and work with the relevant business lines to implement change.

Key Requirements:

- Knowledge of Luxembourg requirements applicable to AIFMs, preferably with private credit experience.
- Fluent in English.
