**What it's about**
As a Valuation Analyst, you will be part of the Investment Valuation Services team. You will be responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our asset classes - Private Equity, Private Debt, Private Infrastructure and Private Real Estate.
You will:
- Take responsibility for ongoing monitoring and tracking of the performance of various assets during our investment period
- Perform financial analysis and valuation for our investments across different asset classes using commonly accepted valuation methodologies
- Prepare valuation reports/memos
- Interact with various teams, internally and externally (including service providers, auditors, etc.) related to monitoring and valuation related matters
- Develop deep expertise in private markets valuations
**What we expect**
The successful person for this role should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance
- Ideally 1-2 years of work experience in the financial industry (within the area of private equity or valuation advisory or audit of alternative investment funds), with an understanding of the different categories of equity and debt instruments. Experience in performing valuations of infrastructure assets is a plus
- CFA certification is a plus
- A self-driven/directed, well organized person, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to learn and succeed
- Proficient in MS Office and databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, etc.
