**The opportunity**
We are currently looking for **Supply Chain Business Analyst** to join our team in Luxembourg. The position:

- Frequently works across business lines, conferring with functions and managers to gather requirements and specifications while developing enhanced data and reporting tools. They work directly with functional employees to gain a better sense of the current shortcomings in reporting technology and devise solutions to enhance reporting and data management.
- Decomposes high level business needs into functional needs by understanding the problem and determining data needs. He / She review system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to identify if requests are possible in current system. He / she develops and enhance spreadsheets and databases’ functionality like usage of forms, templates and logic functions resulting transparent standard data & reports to support key functional & regional stakeholders.
- Prepares business documents and presentations for upper management and executives. They use data-gathering and modeling strategies to provide an overview of new processes and enhanced procedures for business-wide reporting. They also prepare the actual business reports, which include data on in the area of cost, cash & service within and beyond SC EMEA.
- Communicates the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to various stakeholders within EMEA Supply Chain to support the departments in reaching their goals through analysis. They monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends.
- Maintains databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy, reliability and maturity of data. He / she regularly examines data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout and makes sure that sufficient documentation about scope and maintenance of the reports is given.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop cross group and cross functional reports covering all data, reporting & monitoring needs and requirements of different organizational levels within regional & und functional Supply Chain, incl requirements resulting from auditing.
- Review system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to identify if requested programs are possible in current system and in case of deviation pro active start the process of EKN incl creation, test procedure, implementation and roll out phase.
- Continuous usage of latest technology within report & data creation with focus on reduction of manual intervention, increase of automation and user-friendly and "easy-to-understand" output.
- Regular cleaning of unused reports, creation and maintenance of applicable user documentation.
- Handle small projects incl cross-functional collaboration, present results and meet deadlines by collaborating multiple projects.

Be fluent in English is a must (spoken and written).

**Experience**:

- Basic understanding about the various supply chain activities such as demand & supply planning, customer operations, Transportation & Warehousinand integration of them.
- Proven knowledge & expertise in key relevant (both operational & reporting) systems incl latest releases like Tableau, IBM Report Studio, Cognos. MS office package etc.
- Experience working in a Supply Chain environment incl experience in a multinational environment would be considered as an asset.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Data management - extensive familiarity with data management principles and practices, including metadata management and data access technologies.
- Experience in SAP, object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs incl ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts.
- Analysis - to rigorously and effectively examine large quantities of data and derive insights from these data sets.
- Written and verbal communication - to communicate across business lines and report on findings and processes to executives and employees.
- Problem-solving - to find solutions to an organization’s data management and reporting problems and to be able to adapt and modify solutions based on changing requirements.
