**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Role summary**:
The Assistant Manager position represents an administration role within the business, focused on supporting the Depositary team and Director to meet all the service requirements of our clients.
Employed in Luxembourg as an Assistant Manager, reporting to the Depositary Director in Luxembourg. In performing the role, you will work with other members of the Depositary team.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Review investment opportunities and related analysis received by LIS’ advisors;
- Working with the Manager and Director to review offering documents and fund documentation and ensure company and regulatory compliance of AIFs managed by LIS;
- Liaise with investment teams to stay up-to-date about market situations and company decisions that may impact one another;
- Maintain current knowledge about financial and fund products available to clients in the following asset classes: Real-Estate, Private Equity, Debt and Infrastructure;
- Oversight and review of team adherence to internal policies, controls and systems, including meeting any internal deadlines;
- Any other duties in the scope of the role that the company requires.
**REQUIREMENTS**
**Skills required**:
- Postgraduate level qualification in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or Accounting;
- Industry recognized certification program or minimum 2 years of experience;
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Solid research skills. Ability to read and understand professional agreements, fund agreements and economical briefs;
- Ability to think constructively and work independently while interacting with the team in project related tasks;
- Problem solving and analytical thinking;
- Oversight of administrator and trainee administrator performance and development;
- Attention to detail and good time management;
- Develop relationships with clients and expand client network in professional and settings;
- Integrity;
- Committed to continuous professional development;
- Self-motivated who can demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.
