Fund Risk Officer

**Summary**:
In this role as a Fund Risk Officer you will be working with different types of funds (UCITs and AIFs), controlling risks and producing reports for relevant authorities. You will challenge the business to ensure funds and portfolio risks are identified and managed.
You will report to the Head of Risk in Luxembourg and be within a team of 4. The total team in Luxembourg is made of around 40 people. They enhance team-spirit and the people we placed in the last 5 years told us it’s a very healthy and supportive working environment.
Some of the duties include:
- Work in close collaboration to the Head of Compliance, and to the persons responsible for investment Risk and Operational Risk in the UK.
- Perform oversight of the funds to ensure compliance with investment objectives;
- Monitors all type of Risks, looking at processes, identifying gaps and ensuring remediation;
- Provide independent portfolio risk analysis, (ensure the funds are managed within the investment risk guidelines and portfolio restrictions);
- Evaluate Risk management in the company, looking at new trends in the field;
- Participate to various projects linked to fund launches;
- Deliver information for risk reportings;
- Regulatory watch in relations to risk management, anticipate Risk gaps and find solutions.
**Key requirements**:
- 3 years of experience in Risk functions;
- **Fluent in English; **French and German are a plus;
- Experience working with alternative funds / UCITS;
- Can work autonomously;
- Organized and proactive.
