**Role’s brief description**
The Maintenance Team Member is a resource person for students, staff and parents. Subject to the overall responsibility of the Head of Facilities and Security, the Maintenance Team Member shall be responsible for carrying out the maintenance of the school physical plant and grounds.
ISL is committed to safeguarding and prioritising the wellbeing of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
**Profile**
(training, experience, skills and aptitudes necessary to do the job)
Formal technical school diploma or professional experience in relevant professional area:
- General maintenance
- Electrician / Sound
- Sanitation
- Groundskeeping (upkeep of semi-public green spaces including hedges, trees, plants and gardens)
- Knowledge and experience in Luxembourg building safety and security codes preferred;
- Experience in fire safety;
- Conversational in Luxembourgish, English, German; knowledge of French an advantage;
- Driver’s license “B” to drive tractor or truck;
- Good computer skills;
- Experience in education would be helpful.
